Frequently Asked Questions
-
At Baybrook, we offer lessons for children starting at age 2, which aligns with our Preschool 1 program. For children younger than 2, the Lifesaving Society’s Parent & Tot program is available at local town pools, though Baybrook does not offer this program.
-
Yes! Our outdoor pool is fully heated and is a salt-water pool. This provides a comfortable swimming temperature while being gentler on skin, eyes, and hair compared to traditional chlorine pools.

Yes, a washroom is available on-site and may be used for changing if needed.
However, as there is only one washroom available, we kindly recommend that swimmers arrive already wearing their swimsuit (or with it worn under their clothing).
We also encourage swimmers to use the washroom before their lesson begins so valuable lesson time is not interrupted or wasted.
-
Lessons continue in rain, but are canceled for thunder, lightning, or extreme weather. Baybrook will do its best to notify you as early as possible.
-
If your child is sick or has an emergency, we will attempt to reschedule a make-up lesson on the Friday of the same week, though this is not guaranteed.
Absences for other reasons (parties, vacations, etc.) do not qualify for make-up lessons or refunds.
-
Yes! We offer double or triple lessons for families with multiple swimmers. While we do our best to schedule family lessons simultaneously, this cannot be guaranteed.
